Position Overview

ELVTR is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Operations Specialist to support day-to-day finance operations, with a primary focus on account reconciliations, documentation checks, and recurring internal reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, can stay consistent with repetitive tasks, and takes pride in accuracy.

You’ll work closely with the finance team and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to ensure documents are complete, data is clean, and internal processes are followed—while also contributing ideas to make workflows simpler and more standardized over time. There is a growth path into helping the finance department implement AI-enabled automation (e.g., improving templates, automating repetitive checks, streamlining reporting and data flows).

This remote position is open to candidates anywhere in Ukraine.

Requirements

• 6+ months of relevant experience in a finance-related role and/or currently in the final year of studies (or recently graduated) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline.

• English level B1–B2 reading and listening: able to write internally in English and read/understand contracts and financial documentation
• Basic Google Sheets proficiency: filters, structured tables, and basic formulas
• Basic understanding of accounting logic (e.g., debits/credits concept, what reconciliation means, why supporting docs matter)
• Strong attention to detail and an accuracy-first mindset
• Ability to manage routine operational tasks reliably and meet internal deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations in accounting software in line with internal policies and procedures
• Gather, review, and organize supporting documentation for finance operations
• Verify documentation for completeness and compliance with internal requirements before processing
• Prepare, update, and maintain recurring financial reports and internal tracking files
• Support the preparation of financial documentation and contractual documents as needed
• Follow internal finance procedures and contribute to process improvements (standardization, better templates, automation ideas, improved data quality)
