Cell Lead (Production Supervisor) - Montreal (18-month contract)
Position Purpose
Working with the Process Lead and the Maintenance Lead, the cell lead (Production supervisor) will be responsible for the application of IWS (Integrated Working System) processes and the development of action plans with the team in order to achieve short- and medium-term targets.
Responsibilities
Oversee results of the assigned cellOrganize production cell work using IWS principlesOversee production machine safety, quality and productivitySet short-term (24 hours) and medium-term (90 days) prioritiesDevelop action plans with the production cell teamAllocate resources to support production plansOversee IWS processesEnsure employee training and developmentQualifications and experience
Technical DEC and/or bachelor’s degree or relevant experienceMinimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a production departmentExperience in production optimization processes (TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED)Excellent technical understanding of production machinesComputer literacy - MS Office environment (Project, Excel, PowerPoint)Skills, competencies and language
