About the project:
As a Technical Business Analyst - Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective communication between our business stakeholders and the data engineering team. You will work closely with both groups to understand the business's reporting requirements, identify relevant data sources, address data access issues, ensure data governance compliance, and create detailed specifications for data solutions. Your primary focus will be on analyzing data needs and translating them into actionable insights for our data engineering team to implement.

Timezone requirements: standard Ukraine time is ok, the client is in the UK.
Location requirements: only EU.
Client team: One main stakeholder, along with several user and development teams, requires the selected person to serve as a communication bridge and advisor.
English: C1.

Requirements: 7+ years of proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.Strong data modeling skills and expertise in data analysis techniques.Proficiency in tools like SQL, Power BI, or other reporting and analytics platforms.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their data needs and objectives.Data Modeling: Leverage your data modeling experience to advise on effective data structures and data flows that align with business goals.Data Source Identification: Identify and evaluate potential data sources, both internal and external, that can be leveraged to meet reporting requirements.Data Access Issues: Investigate and address data access challenges, ensuring data is readily available for reporting and analysis.Cataloging: Create a comprehensive catalog of data assets, defining data dictionaries and metadata to facilitate data discovery and understanding.Specification Development: Produce detailed technical specifications and documentation that clearly articulate the requirements for data solutions to be built by the data engineering team.Communication: Act as a liaison between non-technical business users and technical teams, translating business needs into technical language and vice versa.
