About the role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager & Business Analyst to collaborate with a client from the Southern part of America who has minimal technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will combine their expertise in project management with strong analytical skills to define requirements, oversee project execution, and ensure successful delivery.

This role demands someone who can translate technical jargon into simple language, manage project timelines, and keep the client actively engaged and informed. A candidate with a smart, personable, and confident presence will thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead the project from inception to completion, ensuring all phases are delivered on time and within scope;Facilitate communication between the client and development team, ensuring clear understanding and alignment;Ensure continuous client engagement by organizing regular meetings, updates, and progress reviews;Identify potential risks and proactively address them to keep the project on track.

Business Analysis:

Collaborate with the client to gather, clarify, and document project requirements;Analyze business needs, define technical solutions, and create detailed specifications for the development team;Ensure all project requirements are aligned with the client’s business objectives and are clearly communicated to all stakeholders;Conduct gap analyses and recommend enhancements or improvements to project outcomes.

Requirements:

Project Management Skills:

Experience: 3+ years in Technical Project Management, with a track record of successfully managing full-cycle software development projects;Project Planning: Proficient in creating detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Familiar with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello;Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing stakeholder expectations, especially with clients who have minimal technical knowledge;Risk Management: Strong ability to identify potential project risks early and implement risk mitigation strategies effectively;Client Engagement: Ability to engage and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, clear updates, and regular status reports.

Business Analysis Skills:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis in tech-related projects, preferably with exposure to both agile and waterfall methodologies;Requirements Gathering: Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements. Experience in writing detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases;Process Design: Experience in designing workflows, process models, and data flow diagrams to explain technical solutions to stakeholders;Solution Validation: Ability to validate that the proposed technical solutions meet the business needs and are aligned with project goals;Communication: Strong skills in bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical clients, ensuring that all parties are on the same page.

Other Requirements:

Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present ideas clearly and engage with international clients;Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to maintain trust and a productive relationship with clients;Ability to manage multiple projects at once, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
