Position: Business Development Manager (RES Projects)

We have a great career opportunity for a Business Development Manager in a leading Ukrainian renewable energy company with a head office in Kyiv.
The Company is focused on providing reliable clean energy from renewable sources. Its competencies include the management of solar and wind power plants, as well as the development and construction of renewable energy projects with participation in the sale of generated electricity on the open energy market. Currently, the company owns and operates one of the largest renewable energy portfolios in Ukraine, with a total installed capacity of 636 MW, and continues to develop new wind power projects with a capacity of over 470 MW, with the aim of expanding its presence to other cutting-edge energy technologies. We are looking for a skilled specialist who will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities during the development, construction and operation stages of the Company's wind power projects as part of the Business Development team, as well as interacting with all departments of the company daily.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project management of existing wind development portfolio in Ukraine to achieve RTB stage: land management; contract management with subcontractors; equipment and services tendering; communication with all stakeholders and status reporting
- Close collaboration with technical, legal and financial teams in day-to-day wind development activity (reporting, budgeting, contracts approval, etc.)
- Active participation in financing structuring with International Financing Institutions for development projects
- Active participation in asset operational model development for existing wind projects
- Participation in existing wind assets performance improvement
- Participation in BESS research & pilot project working group identify BESS applicability for wind projects

Qualifications and professional experience:
- Experience in Renewable Energy Markets: Proven track record in business development, sales, or project development or construction management within solar, wind, hydro or other clean energy sectors (wind is preferrable)
- Project Management and Cross-Functional Coordination: Competence in managing project pipelines, coordinating with engineering, legal, finance, and environmental teams, and driving projects from concept to execution
- Technical and Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret technical project documentation and financial models, assess project viability, and support investment decision-making
- Market Research and Strategic Development Skills: Ability to analyze emerging markets, assess competitive landscapes, identify business opportunities, and develop project implementation strategies
- Stakeholder and Partner Management: Experience working with developers, utilities, investors, government bodies (TSO, DSO, NEURC), and technology providers, ensuring strong partnerships and smooth project progress
- Strong Understanding of Energy Regulations and Market Mechanisms: Knowledge of renewable energy policies, permitting processes, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Excellent Negotiation and Contract Skills: Skilled in negotiating project agreements, land lease contracts, EPC/O&M contracts, and strategic partnerships
- Ukrainian Fluent, English Upper Intermediate (B2+) is a must
