KPMG has a strong team of highly-qualified lawyers with extensive experience in supporting foreign and domestic investors during their investment projects in Ukraine. We advise our clients on various complex corporate and restructuring, currency control and banking & finance issues.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out research on various legal matters, analysis of court practice
• Prepare legal advice, memoranda, draft contracts/transaction documents, engage in DD legal assignments, etc.
• Under counsel’s / senior consultant’s supervision draft proposals and responses to clients’ requests
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls
• Cooperate with junior staff, share experience and feedback
• Report to a counsel on the progress with client engagements
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

• Last-year student of the renowned Ukrainian university
• Good knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Investment, Commercial law
• Working experience in a leading law firm and/or a Big 4 firm is a plus, not a must
• Knowledge on Banking & Finance Law, currency control regulation is a plus
• Fluent Ukrainian, confident spoken and written English
• Studies (e.g., LLM) in a recognized foreign university/college is a plus, not a must
• Responsible, goal-oriented, ambitious and ready to work hard
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, stress resistant
• Team player
• Demonstrating drive and resilience
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Friendly, confident, attentive to details
