The role will involve:
Supervision of the work of junior staff on various shadow payroll, local payroll outsourcing and HR administration projects, payroll review and payroll-related tax review projects (monthly payroll calculations, payroll-related tax calculations, tax and statistical reporting, HR administration, journal entries, different payroll-related reports) and reporting to senior personnel;Working with 1C Salary and HR administration (ZUP) software: input, reports, settings, working with software provider, checking of data processed by junior colleagues;Running of several projects (prioritizing tasks, daily communication with clients, planning of work and resources, reporting to senior colleagues, controlling of timely and accurate completion of tasks, working with the state authorities);Preparation/writing of drafts of tax recommendations, reports, memorandums and other deliverables, including tax returns and other tax compliance-related materials; Analysis of legislative changes, opinions of the state authorities, review of relevant tax and legal publications;Regular communication with state authorities and clients;Preparation of services proposal documentation, assisting with tender documentation, marketing materials, engagement letters for clients;Participation in client meetings and seminars;Development and maintaining of strong professional relationships with clients, development junior staff.Requirements:
Education:Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics. Tax-specific education and/or study at a foreign university would be considered a plus. Professional qualification and accreditations (ACCA, CPA, CFA, ADIT, ACA or similar) preferred;Professional experience:Three-four years of accounting experience (payroll and tax accounting is preferably);Expertise with 1C (ZUP), Taxman, Sono, Taxpayer’s cabinet;Solid experience in application of local accounting standards related to payroll accrual, Kazakhstani legislation on personal taxation and labor matters;Other skills, traits and knowledge requirements:Fluent spoken and written Russian and English;Strong writing and analytical skills;Ability to work with big data with efficient excel formulas, being attentive to details and figures;Ability to supervise several projects simultaneously;Being a team player able to adjust to quickly changing circumstances, motivated to professional development and career growth;Availability for occasional business trips.We offer:
