We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this hybrid role, you will not only act as a bridge between our business stakeholders and our technical team but also ensure our Agile practices are implemented effectively. You will work closely with the team, prioritizing backlog items, defining requirements, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and helping the team deliver high-quality software products.

The mobile app is a business-critical, rapidly evolving product that demands high standards of quality and scalability. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges and directly influence how end-users engage with the company’s services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer System Analysis, Information Technology, Statistics or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.
• At least Intermediate Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency.
• Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven experience working on mobile, web, or other front-end digital products, with a strong understanding of user experience and interface considerations.
• Familiarity with mobile app analytics platforms and performance metrics.
• Proficient in using product development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, or similar platforms to support end-to-end product lifecycle activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
• In-depth understanding of digital business processes, systems, and technologies.
• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the Scrum framework, its principles, values, and practices.
• Experience of running Scrum activities and ceremonies to guide the team in implementing Scrum effectively and ensure adherence to its processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have skills

• Business Analyst professional certification or Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM).
• Experience with Waterfall methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business requirements for digital projects, initiatives, and enhancements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing digital processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Gather, document, and analyze business needs, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop comprehensive business requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
• Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful project implementation.
• Conduct UAT with stakeholders and drive for sign off before feature release and make sure the developed features align with business requirements.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, refinements, demos, retrospectives and monthly meetings.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation to derive meaningful insights and recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate digital performance metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
