Role description
The mission of the Sales Engineer is to ensure sales growth, increase company profits, and market share by developing new business opportunities and increasing our share of wallet with existing customers within the assigned Industry Segments. The Sales Engineer will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support and conducting training to new and existing customers within the area of responsibility.
Your main challenges
•Building and developing relationships with existing customers, and actively searching for new customers
• Sales development of products and company services in the reporting Industry Segments
• Ensuring achievement of the yearly goals in sales, revenue and profit and other objectives agreed with the Country and Commercial Manager
• Ensuring continuous performance improvement in your area of responsibility
• Continuous monitoring of sales results and taking appropriate corrective actions if necessary
• Constant market share increases through strengthening presence and competence development, regular market share follow-up, and taking corrective actions where needed
• Ensuring solid relationships with end customers within direct and indirect sales channels
• Recognizing, understanding, and addressing customer needs in the local market as well as following up on competitor’s activities
• Achieving customer satisfaction by offering and implementing the most effective solutions
• Interacting with other departments in a constructive, productive and unselfish way that supports the development of synergies and the consolidated result of the Company
• Supporting and promoting the Company’s Core Values
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite and CRM. Experience with SAP would be an advantage
• Able to travel up to 50% of time
What we look for
Your education and experience
• University degree, preferably in Marketing or Engineering discipline (5-year degree)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in B2C, B2B channels in a similar industrial sales position
• Fluent in Ukrainian (both verbal and written)
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written) is an asset
• Driver’s license, category B
