We’re looking for an Account Director to join our Corporate Sales Team based in London. HCA UK’s corporate sales team manage over 1,000 corporate clients delivering screening, occupational health, psychological and primary care services, helping clients integrate access to our unmatched system of healthcare.
As an Account Director you’ll… be responsible for managing a portfolio of HCA Healthcare UK’s most valued and strategically important corporate clients, with the purpose of delivering HCA primary care services and raising the profile and awareness of HCA Healthcare UK in the corporate marketplace.
The Account Director will manage the strategic relationships within a defined portfolio of key clients and will be accountable for delivering the organisational objectives across 6 key areas of focus:
A brand ambassador for HCA Primary Care.Creating a relationship strategy, establishing sound relationships with strategic client stakeholders.Client leadership, facilitating the development of a vision for the retention and evolution of existing relationships.Exploring HCA cross sell opportunities and identifying any risks to accounts.New Business Acquisition through tender processes and/ or direct contact via intermediaries/ clients.Commercial management for the financial performance of the account portfolio.The Account Director represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned clients contracted scope of services and service expectations are met by the business.
Delivering (with clinical and operational colleagues’ input) client focussed and flawlessly executed solutions to meet client’s strategic goals and grow the HCA Healthcare UK business.

What you’ll do:
Relationship Management
Ongoing and regular engagement at senior stakeholder level within a Client/Prospective Client to clearly establish client’s strategic objectives.Demonstrating knowledge leadership of healthcare industry to Clients, acting as a thought leader and ambassadorDevelop and execute a comprehensive strategy that is aligned with client’s objectives, financial position and benefits strategy, while providing profitable revenue and growth to HCA Healthcare UKTailor messages to effectively engage senior executives on a regular basisActively promote and deliver a wellbeing provision to clients with annual programmes and bespoke onsite services as appropriateAbility to analyse and present management information and outcomes to key stakeholder groupsProactively and enthusiastically update clients, appointed intermediaries and other external constituents on HCA Healthcare UK’s capabilities to create business opportunities and better customer journeysDeliver organised, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to the clients’ business needs, in collaboration with HCA Primary Care CEO and clinical management team.Builds and maintain productive relationships with clients, intermediariesDevelop/maintain knowledge, through consultation with the businesses clinical leadership on products, healthcare industry and emerging marketplace trendsChampion the needs of assigned clients whilst balancing the needs and dynamics of the businessInternal Relationship Management
Clearly communicate and co-ordinate with HCA Healthcare UK’s internal teams to effectively deliver Client’s service requirements within agreed service levels, with the aim to exceed expectationsBuild strong and productive relationships with internal teams and providers who are responsible for the delivery of service to corporate clients (E.g. Operations and Clinical Teams)Work collegiately across the HCA Healthcare business to ensure that the Client Management processes, and service delivery is in line with client expectationExhibit a consultative approach to bringing the “Voice of the Customer” into HCA Healthcare UK to evolve and continually develop our Value Proposition to expand HCA Healthcare UK’s market share and support the Company’s plans for growthPropose, champion and provide ‘Voice of the Customer’ for key projects and be the subject matter expert for related projects that affect the client portfolioCommercial Management Portfolio
Consistently grow the value of your defined portfolio, by a combination of, enhancing utilisation of existing services, introducing price increases and expanding servicesDeliver effective responses and resolutions to all manner of issues arising and be able to interact with Client’s influencers and decision makers, which include HR, Reward and Benefits, Procurement together with relationships at Director level and beyond.Negotiate and finalise the renewal of each assigned Client contract and deliver the required business results across 1) Account Retention 2) Account Profitability 3) Relationship Deepening (Cross Sell) 4) New Business Acquisition 5) Client SatisfactionPresent ideas and solutions based on Client’s strategic goals to senior leaders and peers to continually develop HCA Healthcare UK’s value proposition and strategic business goalsBuild and execute effective strategic plans for cross-sell opportunitiesWhat you’ll bring:
A minimum 5 years’ experience in senior account management roles within corporate healthcare or Insurers.Exceptional experience in generating business growth and developing strategic relationships.Proven track record working to financially driven KPIs, in the corporate healthcare market.Ability to analyse and present management information and outcomes to key stakeholder groups to board level executives. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Demonstrative stakeholder engagement and communication skills at all levels both written and verbal.
