The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking aAdvocacy Nurse Specialist to join our team working at a high-profile client site located in The City near Chancery Lane. You will work as part of a small, dynamic team to provide employees and eligible family members with high quality, confidential medical advocacy support within a non-treating case management role. You will support individuals in the United Kingdom, as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and will be part of a wider global advocacy team.
What you will do:
Consult mainly remotely, and at times in person, with eligible employees and family members to provide them with confidential medical advocacy advice and case management support in conjunction with the assigned Corporate PhysicianYou will support and empower patients, coordinate the delivery of required services, and liaise with healthcare providers to expedite access to quality care with the aim of optimising medical treatment and outcomes for individuals with acute, serious or complex health issuesResearch and provide appropriate resources and health information, and assist individuals with navigating the healthcare system, both NHS and privateWith appropriate patient consent, work closely with the wider onsite medical team and global advocacy teams, to provide seamless integration of care both locally and globallyEnsure accurate medical records are maintained and input information into the bespoke electronic patient records systemMaintain regular contact and follow up of patient case load, prioritising as neededActively contribute to the ongoing development of the service by identifying gaps and areas for improvement, as well as helping to broaden our network of providers and raise awareness of the service within the firmWhat you will bring:
Adult Registered Nurse with substantial post registration experience at band 6 or aboveExperience within a corporate setting and/or case management role, desirable but not essentialExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levelsA flexible and adaptable team player essentialSelf-motivated with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloadComputer literacy essentialApplicants must demonstrate a proactive and compassionate approach to patient care - showing initiative, diligence, and a commitment to supporting individuals beyond standard expectations to ensure they receive timely, appropriate, and high-quality healthcare.Why HCA UK?
