Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst Experience using Python Experience with SQL querying Experience using BI tools to query data and create visualizations Experience with Snowflake data warehouse or BI tools like Sigma Computing Good understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for looking up functions, charting and pivot table creation Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field

Nice to have

Experience in prime brokerage Good understanding of equities, options, fixed income and other securities Experience with REST API queries using visual tools like Postman or Insomnia Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders such as finance, operations, compliance, sales & trading to extract meaningful business insights that enhance decision-making processes. Utilize the Sigma Computing BI tool to develop queries, reports, and interactive dashboards. Advocate for the widespread use of the BI tool and support proficiency development throughout the organization. Employ SQL to query the Snowflake data warehouse. Acquire and implement software engineering lifecycle best practices for the creation and maintenance of crucial business reports. Contribute to team and company growth, participate in process improvement initiatives, and support overall operational efficiency.
