Shifts: Rotas allow for adaptable commitments. Shifts are 12 or 24 - hour and can be arranged to be block booked if required to fit around outside commitments.
Permanent: There are opportunities for additional shifts, by joining our Bank.

About the Role:
We are actively seeking to recruit experienced Resident doctor's to be part of the Cardiac Resident Doctor Medical Team at The Harley Street Clinic.
Resident Doctors in Cardiology at HCA UK are required to work independently within their skill set to review and treat a wide spectrum of inpatients and out-patients with short and long-term, complex conditions, as well as formulate plans under the supervision of the Consultant in Charge or a leading Professor.

While we are a Consultant Led Service, we believe in empowering our Resident Doctors, so your role could become expand as much as you wish. You’ll have the chance to be involved in audits, projects and quality improvement initiatives alongside the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks. This could be to help steer the services you deliver, speaking up or patient satisfaction focus groups, clinical governance or MDT meetings. Giving you an opportunity to network with your peers, share best practice and expand your knowledge in an unrivalled setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This role is to cover; Critical Care wards, will cover a range of complex case patients.
What you will do:
Wording in a team of specialists to provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking admissions, daily ward rounds, and routine clinical reviews.
Collaborate closely with internationally recognised consultants, specialist therapists, and nurses in all aspects of medical care for adult patients on the Critical Care Ward.
Completing a range of medical procedures, including complex airways as directed.
Leading crash teams if appropriate/ required.
What You’ll Bring:
Fully registered with the GMC and current licence to practice
An additional post-graduate qualification FRCA/ FICM/ MRCEM/MRCP or equivalent is desirable
NHS Trained Intensive care medicine or Anaesthesia to ST3 and above , or equivalent
Able to manage complex airways competently unsupervised and train and support others
Able to demonstrate teaching and mentoring of junior doctors
Must hold current ALS certificate

For 40 hours full time contracts, 264 hours holiday each year (inclusive of bank holidays) increasing with service, with option to buy or sell leave to suit you. This is pro-rata for part time contracts.
