Provides clinical instruction to nursing students in assigned specialty areas, ensuring safe and effective patient care practices.Facilitates students’ application of classroom knowledge to real-world patient care through guided clinical experiences.Demonstrates and coaches students in clinical skills, critical thinking, prioritization, and evidence-based nursing practice.Evaluates students’ performance in the clinical setting, providing timely, constructive feedback to support growth and competency.Collaborates with clinical site staff to support patient-centered care and maintain positive clinical learning environments.Ensures compliance with agency policies, professional standards, and program requirements during clinical activities.Completes required clinical documentation, including student evaluations, incident reports, and attendance records.May assist with simulation learning experiences, skills check-offs, and clinical remediation as needed.Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in a relevant patient care setting (e.g., med-surg, critical care, maternal/child, pediatrics, community health, etc.).Unencumbered RN license from the state of Texas.Jeanne Clery Act
