PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Engage with external stakeholders, primarily government institutions, municipal organizations, NGOs, and business associations — to build trust, promote the company’s positions, and support strategic objectives through effective public affairs strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key government agencies (e.g., Cabinet of Ministers, Parliament, Office of the President) to support business continuity and regulatory alignment.
• Represent the company’s interests at the highest levels of government, including Ministers, Committee Chairs, and senior officials.
• Develop and implement strategies to preserve market freedoms in collaboration with government and non-governmental organizations.
• Represent the company in major business associations (e.g., American Chamber of Commerce, European Business Association, Ukrtyutyun) to advocate for regulatory positions.
• Support the development of public affairs campaigns that enhance stakeholder endorsement and align with the company’s smoke-free mission.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
• Analyze external trends and stakeholder dynamics to refine campaign strategies in a rapidly changing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Higher education (5+ years)
• Experience: Total: 10 years; At least 5 years in senior roles in corporate communications, government, or business associations within the FMCG industry
• Languages: Ukrainian – Native; English – Upper-Intermediate

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian legislation and government procedures
• Strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and campaign development
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
