The incumbent is accountable for proficiently managing budgets, developing financial/procurement plans, and taking charge of drafting and monitoring work plans for the education team.
YOUTH
Follow up implementing partners projects on their Youth Engagement activities through the neededsupportofYouthCouncilandYouthCentresunderthesupervisionoftheEducationProject Manager
Monitor,evaluate,andreviewYouthProjectsincoordinationwithNRC’spartnerorganisationsand under the supervision of the Education Project Manager
Contributetotheidentificationofcommunity-basedorganizations/otherlocalorganizationsfor potential education partnerships.
FORMALEDUCATION
SupporttheimplementationofNRCschoolgrants(cashandvouchers)forschoolimprovement activities under the technical management of the Education Project Manager and with the assistance of the relevant Education staff.
PlanandsupporttheimplementationoftheBLPactivities,includingtheBLP/PsychosocialSupport (PSS) Teacher trainings and NRC newly hired staff, parent engagement;
Planandsupporttheimplementationofcatch-upactivities,includingactivitydesign,Teacher trainings, parent engagement;
PlanandprovideregulartechnicalsupporttothelocaleducationauthoritiesonBLPandPSS together with the support of the relevant staff.
To contribute to the compilation and dissemination of best practices, lessons learnt, recommendations,andcasestudiesfromprojectimplementation,creatingandtrackingagainsta project improvement plan.
Communicatewiththerelevantstakeholders,authorities,schoolheadteachers,teachers,and parents/guardians to ensure positive and healthy relationships.
OTHER
