Job Description
Digital Solutions team is responsible for wide range of digital payment ecosystem products for all types of partners: issuers, acquirers, merchants, PSP’s and fintech players.
Based in Kyiv, the Senior Solutions Manager for CISSEE role will be the CIS&SEE SME and primary owner for Visa Tap, Visa Accept, Urban Mobility and Smart City solutions. This role involves driving product strategy, defining the go-to-market plans, and promoting adoption and usage for these solutions.
This client/partner experience-oriented role will be a combination of solutioning, technology architecture, hands on technical support and client/partner facing relationship. The role will require a deep working knowledge of contactless technology, eCommerce, card processing solutions and card operations. It will require leading complex solution discussions and will span multiple teams, projects, geographic locations, and time zones.
Responsibilities
- Be the CIS&SEE Subject Matter Expert (SME) and single point of contact for hub, business development, merchant sales and other teams on Visa Tap use cases (Tap to phone, Tap to provision, Tap to P2P, Tap to authenticate), Visa Accept and Urban Mobility solutions including open loop acceptance as well as the new VAS in Urban Mobility (Pay in Advance solutions, Cybersource as a gateway, App to ride, etc.)
- Identify, assess and manage the opportunities for Visa solutions to be implemented as part of municipal Smart city applications and services (Parking, Utility payments, EV chargers, traffic fines), including the potential investment opportunities.
- Understand and educate the cross-functional teams on solutions in their entirety including but not limited to overall architecture, integration options, connections with other systems and services, features and capabilities, implementation nuances, pricing, risks, rules, etc.
- Establish and maintain Visa relationship with different senior external stakeholders which include Clients, Public transport operators (PTO), government and municipal authorities, vendors, 3rd party solution providers, etc.
- Drive commercialisation of digital acceptance solutions in CIS&SEE including directly working with market teams and clients to identify leads, supporting client pitches, maintaining pipeline of opportunities, overseeing the implementation process, reporting to senior management on uptake and performance, and working with cross-functional teams to implement and promote product.
- Work closely with hub and global teams to develop new or enhance existing solutions ensuring that local client needs are heard and considered.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across clients, develop a strong understanding of their strategy and utilize this to develop a bespoke approach to ensuring participation and compliance with Visa’s digital objectives.
- Own budgets allocated to Tap to Phone and Urban Mobility and Smart City projects and manage spend on prioritised initiatives.
- Manage financial business cases and revenue streams, deliver on team KPI’s and personal goals in his/her respective area.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, communications, technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in payments industry, digital or technology
- A strong understanding of payments transaction processing landscape (especially in card present acquiring side)
- Strong domain knowledge & prior implementation experience in Digital Products & payment technology solutions (in at two three of five key areas: Contactless/EMV Chip/NFC payments, Mobile payments, eCommerce, Tokenization, Fare collection systems)
- Proven track record of high performance and recognized as a subject matter expert in digital payments.
- Development and preparation of product presentations, project reports and management level briefs including the ability to deliver presentations and trainings internally and externally.
- Verbal and written communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills are requried
- Creative thinking and innovative solution development, an ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions appropriate for Visa’s clients and partners.
- Excellent client relationship and management skills, board level meetings experience is a plus
- Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams
- Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight, self-directed and motivated
- Travel: the role holder must have the ability to travel from time to time (5-7 times in a year)
- Language Skills: fluent English and Ukrainian (verbal and written) are mandatory. Working knowledge of other CIS languages or Serbian would be a plus
