Entity Finance Manager
Position:
The Entity Finance Manager ensures accurate financial management and reporting of the GBS Entity, while securing compliance with IFRS, statutory, tax, and JTI internal requirements. The role partners with key stakeholders to support financial planning, manage operating expenses, and lead the preparation of ASP, LEs, and OLs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cost management to ensure the Entity’s financial performance and stabilityEnsure accurate accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, payroll oversight, and coordination with Treasury on cash flow managementReview and approve financial reports, KAR reports, and financial packs; ensure timely and compliant financial reporting and tax submissionsLead ASP, LE, and OL preparation; monitor performance against budget and forecasts, providing insights and corrective recommendationsCoordinate internal and external audits, ensure full compliance with IFRS, statutory, tax, and JTI internal controls and policiesMaintain strong internal controls, identify financial risks, and implement mitigation strategiesReview and approve 3rd party service agreements in collaboration with Legal and GIPManage cross-charges with local CFOs and Controllers, and build strong relationships with GBS Leadership, Finance, and other key stakeholdersAct as a strategic advisor to the General Manager, supporting decision-making and ensuring alignment with Operating GuidelinesSupport finance-related ad hoc requests from across the businessRequirements:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business AdministrationProfessional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)Minimum 6 years of finance controlling experience with end-to-end Entity financial ownership and team leadership in a multinational settingBig 4 or audit experience is a plusFluent in English with excellent communication skillsProven ability to take full ownership of the processes and deliver under tight deadlinesProficient in SAP, Excel, and TM1Strong business understanding with thorough knowledge of IFRS, Controlling, Corporate Governance, and taxationEffective leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
