ROLE PURPOSE:
The MEAL Assistant is responsible for collecting and verifying data from beneficiaries, both in person and by phone, using digital tools like the Kobo app. Will ensure data accuracy and completeness, contributing to the effectiveness of programs. The role also involves participating in field visits and maintaining data security and confidentiality.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Collect data using tablets with the Kobo face-to-face or by phone. Register data into relevant data collection forms as needed. Enter, check, clean, analyse, and manage database data as requested. Conduct data verification and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Participate in field visits. Conduct phone-based interviews as part of needs assessments or other data collection efforts as needed. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all collected data, adhering to data protection policies and procedures. Maintain secure handling and storage of sensitive information, including encryption and access controls. Generate reports and dashboards. Support the MEAL team with additional tasks as needed, including support for assessments, evaluations, and monitoring visitsDesired:

Education
College degree (at least completed school education).Qualifications
Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian, Russian and, ideally, English. Good level of computer proficiency and ability to use MS-Office. Demonstrated report writing skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines.Experience (Required)
At least years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of programs or relevant experience. Experience in Excel, KoboCollect, CommCare. Experience in data collection, data management, and analysis is highly desirable. Familiarity and comprehension with database designs and management.Experience (Desirable)
Experience working with humanitarian organizations, preferably in MEAL related roles. Experience supporting partners and field teams in data collection, reporting and quality assurance. Experience conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews.
