Job Description
As part of the Group Shared Services organization, the Accountant is responsible for the complete and accurate processing of all bank‑related transactions for several Schréder entities, ensuring proper reconciliation, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily download, verification, and posting of all bank transactions for multiple Schréder entities.
- Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and clearing the Balance Sheet accounts
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany cash movements.
- Follow up on outstanding items and proactively liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure proper clearing.
- Support the month‑end and year‑end closing process related to cash and bank accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group procedures, and audit requirements.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to the Accounting and Treasury teams when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting or cash‑management role.
- Good understanding of bank processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Well organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable.
- Autonomous, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
