The IT company Andersen invites a DevOps Engineer (Azure) in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.
The customer is a governmental institution in the UAE, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The customer’s vision is to assume a pioneering role in supporting the country’s decision-makers. Its mission is to provide support and consultation to decision-makers and to develop a distinguished and high-quality level of competence.
The project is a fully on-premise application designed to ensure complete data privacy, offline availability, and seamless integration with the customer’s existing infrastructure. All core components – including APIs, databases, monitoring tools, and authentication systems – are hosted locally.
Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining on-premise infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Installing and configuring frontend and backend services. Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging tools. Integrating CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps (on-premises). Ensuring secure connectivity and data flows. Supporting integration with external systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deployments, access management, and performance optimization.Requirements
Experience as a DevOps Engineer for 5+ years. Expereince working with on-premise solutions. Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on RHEL virtual machines (no Kubernetes). Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, Sentry, ElasticSearch. Familiarity with Azure DevOps (on-premise) for CI/CD pipelines. Experience integrating with enterprise systems: F5, MiniOrange (API Gateway, IdP), MS Active Directory, Software AG API Gateway, Oracle DB, FileNet. Knowledge of security and network solutions, including Deep Secure CDR, Blackberry VPN Server, UAE Pass, and mTLS. Experience configuring Nginx. Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills in complex enterprise environments. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.Reasons to join us
