At Rumzer, we are building the world’s leading SaaS platform to help manufacturers navigate the complex web of global environmental regulations. From EU RoHS and REACH to California Prop 65, we help companies ensure their products are safe and sustainable.
We don't just build software; we build tools that make global compliance cost-effective and accessible. We are looking for a hungry Junior Angular Developer who wants to own meaningful features and grow alongside a fast-paced startup.
Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, SCSS., Tailwind
Data Visualization: Highcharts or D3.js (turning complex compliance data into clean insights).
State Management: NGXS or NGRX.
Build & Scale: Develop responsive, high-performance Web Applications using Angular to "surface" complex regulatory data in an intuitive, graphically clean way.
Collaborate: Partner closely with our back-end team to integrate RESTful APIs and optimize data flow between the database and the UI.
Own the Quality: Write valid, structured, and "clean code" that meets industry standards and performs seamlessly across all modern browsers.
Iterate Fast: Identify and squash bugs uncovered by testing or customer feedback. In a startup, your fixes go live and help users immediately.
Security & Accessibility: Implement best practices for front-end security and ensure our tools are accessible to all users (WCAG compliance).
Shape the Product: Participate in design sprints and technical requirement sessions. Your voice matters in how we prioritize our roadmap.
Angular Enthusiast: You have a solid grasp of TypeScript and the Angular lifecycle. You understand how to build reusable components.
Visual Thinker: You care about UX/UI. You don't just "output data"—you think about how a manufacturer will actually use it.
Problem Solver: You are comfortable diving into documentation or StackOverflow to solve a performance bottleneck or browser compatibility issue.
Continuous Learner: The web moves fast. You stay current through side projects, blogs, or workshops.
Self-Starter: You thrive in a remote environment and can manage your time effectively without a micromanager breathing down your neck.
Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Angular Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the Angular framework (v14+ preferred), including components, services, and reactive forms.
Web Core: Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS with a focus on building responsive layouts.
State Management: Familiarity with asynchronous programming and RxJS observables.
Version Control: Experience using Git/GitHub/Gitlab for version control and collaborative development.
API Integration: Basic understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and handling JSON data structures.
Data Visualization: Any experience with charting libraries (e.g., Highcharts, D3.js, or Chart.js) is a significant plus given our data-heavy compliance focus.
Testing: Awareness of front-end testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex UI issues and optimize front-end performance for large datasets.
Self-Starter: A "figure-it-out" mentality; you are comfortable researching solutions to technical hurdles independently.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential for a fully remote team).
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for UI/UX consistency—you care if a pixel is out of place.
Mission-Aligned: An interest in environmental sustainability or international regulatory compliance.
True Remote Culture: Work from wherever you are most productive.
High Impact: You aren't a cog in a machine. Your code directly helps manufacturers reduce their environmental footprint.
Mentorship: Work directly with experienced engineers and founders who are invested in your career growth.
The Future: Join a company tackling one of the most important professional challenges of the decade: global sustainability and compliance.
