We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks and Python (PySpark) to support clinical data surveillance and feasibility analytics initiatives.

In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, help enforce GxP-compliant data processes, support role-based access control for sensitive datasets, and participate in integrating Databricks with enterprise platforms such as Azure and SNAP.

This is you

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Python (PySpark)

• Understanding of clinical or regulated data environments (GxP as a plus)

• Basic to intermediate experience with data security concepts (RBAC, access control, permissions)

• Experience working with ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering best practices

• Familiarity with Python visualization libraries (Plotly, matplotlib, seaborn)

• Experience working with data from multiple sources

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders

This is your role

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark

• Support clinical data surveillance workflows under guidance of senior engineers

• Assist in implementing GxP-compliant data handling and documentation

• Help manage role-based access control for sensitive datasets

• Contribute to Databricks integration with Azure and SNAP platforms

• Match, merge, and standardize data from internal and external sources

• Create and maintain standardized queries (e.g. ICD-10 codes)

• Build unified datasets optimized for reporting, charting, and analytics
