Packer Technician

 

 

Position purpose:

As a Packer Technician you will supervise Packer employees, monitor their performance, ensure they comply with company and safety policies and delegate tasks appropriately. Packer Technician is responsible for maintaining high performance, ensuring production targetsand KPIs are meet with the highest quality and adhering safety standards.

What will you do – responsibilities:

Leading Packer team by organizing shift schedules for team members, assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills, assisting with tasks if necessary, conducting performance reviews and sharing feedback with both factory management and team members in addition to training new and current team members on tasksSupporting production lead and line lead in planning, executing, monitoring, reporting and controlling all manufacturing and non-manufacturing to achieve the monthly/yearly production plan and core KPIs targetsMaintaining proper standards for the equipment and machinery through planning and performing planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, Packers spare parts management and overhaul dutiesMaintaining and enhancing 5S3R activities across factory premises in addition to taking an active role in ensuring continuous improvement initiatives and projects 

Who are we looking for – requirements:

National Diploma or Higher National Diploma3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing environmentArabic & Basic English is preferredExperience in a production environment, adequate cigarette packers knowledge is mandatory, excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnsuring that supervised employees always demonstrate safe behavior in line with JTI's EHS standards, complying with JTI's code of conduct, legal & other requirements
