Assignment 1: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
For the first period of time, you'll become an integral part of our FP&A team, where you'll develop your competencies in:
Analytical Skills:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. (e.g., conduct variance analysis on P&L statements to understand cost drivers or revenue fluctuations)Apply volume/mix/pricing analysis techniques to assess the impact of pricing strategies and product mix on profitability.Financial Statement Understanding (P&L Focus):
Gain a deep understanding of the components of the Profit and Loss statement (P&L) and their interrelationships.Interpret P&L data to assess company performance and profitabilityAdvanced Excel & Power BI Proficiency:
Build financial models and dashboards in Power BI to effectively communicate financial information.Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.Soft Skills:
