Legal Manager
Position purpose:
Acting as a Legal Business Partner, the Legal Manager will provide legal support to the Legal Director and the Team on the following: national and international contract drafting and negotiation; support the internal stakeholders on different matters such us Marketing, Sales, and Staff Functions; cooperation in litigation handling primarily in pre-litigation terms, in order to avoid litigation risks; support on other areas of law as necessary, including Competition Law, Anti-bribery Laws, Privacy, Consumer protection, and health and safety.
What will you do – responsibilities:
Guarantee that relationships with suppliers (national and international) are governed by proper contractual documents and bidding documents aimed at avoiding or minimizing business risks. Draft contractual documents and support the Legal Team in advising on commercial law, in compliance with Company standards and policies and the lawMaintain and ensure Company compliance. Draft and revise policies and internal regulationsProtect and assist the Company in case of controversy (e.g. Labor and Commercial Law). Manage contentious relationships with external lawyers, in accordance with Company policies and the lawImplement and support new projects and initiatives (mainly cross-functional) to evaluate, monitor, and anticipate potential issues to the business. Analyze opportunities and risks, following, step by step, the relevant stakeholders in order to support the development of the project in all its parts. Collect opinions about doubts and questions of internal clients, in compliance with the Company strategies, as well as the laws, regulations, and European directivesEnsure adequate and timely compliance with national and European regulations. Monitor and analyze legislation at the national and international levels in accordance with the timing imposed by the lawEnsure compliance of new products to the existing laws. Minimize risks, supporting business strategies. Review and analyze packaging, materials, consumer information activities, market research, content from digital media and all the legal activities, answering promptly the questions receivedMaintain good and fast relationships with the agencies, government, and ADM. Management of all communications and requests to ADM and supports the Corporate Affairs in the relations with the Institutions and with the GovernmentWho are we looking for – requirements:
