Job DescriptionThe Project Delivery Organization (PD) provides onshore and nearshore expertise to support Mobile Networks projects across Europe, covering roles from Project Managers to Engineers and Technical Managers. PD resources are organized by competencies and continuously developed in line with evolving technologies, service portfolios, career paths, and capability demand. Operating in 37 European countries, PD collaborates both remotely and on-site with customers, PD members, and key Nokia stakeholders.Within PD, the Network Management and Optimization (NMO) stream delivers project engineering expertise for the deployment of Operations Support Systems (OSS) such as NetAct and MantaRay. NMO supports customers across Europe with Technical Management, Solution Architecture, onsite interventions, Network Optimization, and the delivery of Self-Optimizing Networks (SON) integrated with Nokia and third-party radio networks. The stream also delivers customized Backup & Restore solutions for Nokia Core Network components, including third-party nodes.The End-to-End (E2E) family supports customers across multiple Business Units and Business Groups in line with contractual service agreements. E2E activities span pre- and post-sales phases, covering both technical and non-technical topics, ensuring service delivery readiness, providing feedback to product organizations on serviceability, and managing escalations to relevant stakeholders.The OSS Delivery Technical Lead / Technical Manager team is responsible for end-to-end technical management throughout the customer project lifecycle. This includes ownership of quality, risk, and timelines from delivery approach preparation through deployment, customer acceptance, and care phases. The team acts as the primary technical interface for the customer and serves as the first technical escalation point within the project.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnServe as the subject matter expert on Nokia NetAct, the operational support system (OSS) platform used for Radio (2G,3G,4G and 5G) and Core network monitoring and management.Execute installation and upgrade task for the Nokia NetAct, Administer and maintain the Nokia NetAct system, ensuring its availability, performance, and reliability.Configure and customize the NetAct platform to meet the specific requirements of the radio and core network monitoring and management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network operations, engineering, and vendors, to ensure seamless deployment, integration and operation of the NetAct platform.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the NetAct system, minimizing network downtime.Stay updated on the latest releases, patches, and updates related to Nokia NetAct, and perform system upgrades and enhancements as required.Stay abreast of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in OSS platforms and network management. Key Skills And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience as an OSS administrator or engineerProficiency in administering and managing Server Clusters, including system configuration, customization, and performance monitoring.Practical Experience with VMware or OpenStack, Cloud SW and Server Virtualization, Kubernetes (K8) and preparing virtual machines.Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related Linux, Database, TCP/IP and web protocols, Security and SSL/TLS, VLANFamiliarity with network management protocols, such as SNMP, BGP and NetConfUnderstanding of radio network technologies, protocols, and performance metricsTechnical English proficiency & Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors About UsAdvancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era.
