The platform supports a sports fashion retailer and its associated brands, covering critical functional areas such as transactional services, promotional and campaign management, returns processing, and product information management (PIM).We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Principal Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. You will be responsible for driving architectural decisions, mentoring teams, and ensuring best practices across the full development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise across ReactJS/Next.js and Node.js and has an advanced level of English.As part of the GlobalLogic team, you will grow, be challenged, and expand your skill set working alongside highly experienced and talented people.If this sounds like an exciting opportunity for you, send over your CV!RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Architecture & DesignLead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance applications.Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to design system solutions.Development & Technical Leadership:Build end-to-end features using ReactJS/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend).Design and implement APIs using GraphQL and REST where appropriate.Ensure test coverage and reliability through unit/integration testing with Jest.Mentorship & Team Collaboration:Mentor and guide engineers, ensuring continuous technical growth within the team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, QA, and DevOps.Lead technical discussions, proof of concepts, and design reviews.Scalability & Performance:Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness on AWS Cloud.Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting to maintain system reliability.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience: 10+ years of professional full-stack development experience.Technical ExpertiseFrontend: ReactJS, Next.js, modern UI design principles.Backend: Node.jsLanguages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).APIs: GraphQL, RESTful APIs.Testing: Jest, unit and integration testing frameworks.Preferred Skills:Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.Job responsibilitiesDrive Initiatives: Lead and ensure the delivery and closure of key technical initiatives.Architectural Accountability: Ensure solutions are technically robust, scalable, and resilient to meet all business requirements.Hands-on Contribution: Maintain a hands-on role by writing code and conducting critical code reviews.Quality Enforcement: Implement a zero-tolerance policy for poor coding; ensure comprehensive test coverage (Unit, Integration, Mocks) is mandatory.Deployment Strategy: Architect features to be independently deployable and releasable.Optimization: Focus on Cost and Scale Optimization for deployed features.Technical Guidance: Guide and direct teams on implementation, technical design, and development standards.Product Alignment: Collaborate with Product Managers, challenging requirements to maintain a clear delivery timeline.Work Package Ownership: Be fully accountable for the technical execution and quality of the entire work package delivery.What we offerCulture of caring.
