At Ingenico, trust and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.Main responsibilities:Development of software on C/C++ under Proprietary Linux based platform for POS terminals, as well as related software tools for WindowsFunctional & unit tests of developed functionality, configuration of Dev environmentWriting of internal technical specifications, K&B articlesSoftware maintenance (issues investigation, bug fixes, refactoringAnalysis of requirements and customer's specifications, participation in workload estimationsModeling / proof of concept code, analysis of legacy codeCollaboration with QA team on within SW production cycleCollaboration with Support team on investigation of issues and functional changes during UAT processCode Review and Mentorship: middle developer may be involved in code reviews and mentoring junior developers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to improve the overall code qualityStaying updated with the latest advancements in the field of software development, particularly in the context of financial technology and POS systems.Knowledge required:Good knowledge of modern С++ (C11 and C14 standards at least). 2+ years of experience as a C++ developerGood knowledge of C languageKnowledge of PythonSome experience with LUA, BASHAPI Integration: experience in integration with various APIs (payment gateways and/or other third-party services)Good knowledge and practical experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP)Good cryptography knowledge: Understanding cryptographic concepts, such as encryption, decryption, hashing, and digital signatures. Experience with cryptography libraries such as OpenSSL, CryptoPP, Botan etc.Experience in creating and updating of technical documentation.DevOPS/tools: Good knowledge and practical experience with version control systems like Git to collaborate with teammates and manage code changes effectively.
