The Client, the publishing house opens a new Position of a Senior Lawyer of IP.Scope of duties:- acquisitions of various intellectual property rights (e.g. in respect of books, book covers, illustrations, translations etc.), both with Ukrainian and foreign counterparties;- preparation and/or review of various agreements with Ukrainian subcontractors involved in the book publishing process (e.g. in respect of books layouts, books proofreading and editing etc.);-preparation and review of various agreement with counterparties involved in the books distribution process etc.;- formalization of employment etc. Providing full legal support to a recently launched padel tennis club, which shall include, inter alia: (i) preparation and review of various agreements (lease, sublease, acquisition and/ or sale of various sport equipment, arrangement of padel tennis tournaments, advertising services etc.); review of and updates to terms of use, privacy policy etc.; (ii) formalization of employment etc. On-going legal support of various issues relating to personal corporate structure of the UBO, inter alia:- incorporation, acquisition and/or liquidation (including strike-offs) of legal entities and other SPVs both in and outside Ukraine;- opening bank accounts for the UBO as an individual, as well as for various legal entities (both in and outside Ukraine);- amendments and/or updates to the UBO’s personal corporate structure (if and when necessary);- CFC and other tax reporting issues; Advising on various legal and tax matters arising in Ukraine. Requirements: Outstanding academic achievements in law, obtained from a leading law school or university. English: C1 or higher level, with exceptional legal writing skills; At least 5+ years of professional legal experience and, preferably, at least 3 years of enhanced legal experience in intellectual property law (either in law firms, publishing houses or other IP-related projects). Knowledge and experience in commercial law, corporate law, employment law, GDPR and related legal matters; Ability to provide high-quality legal support and advice. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
