Currently, PandaDoc is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Intelligence Hub Track and lead some of our AI teams.
The Intelligence Hub Track is responsible for making PandaDoc smarter, more automated, and more autonomous. We build the AI platform that various domain teams at PandaDoc can use, build the data pipelines to power the intelligence, work on new powerful intelligent search, and enable domain teams to build and integrate AI agents. Our objective is to democratize AI, show what’s possible via early prototypes, and enable and empower the domain teams to make PandaDoc intelligent and AI-native.

As a technical leader, you will:
Own technical decisions by working daily with the team on architecture, scope, and technical choices—participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical debates rather than just reviewing from a distance;
Navigate uncertainty by helping the team gain clarity on unclear projects, asking the right questions, and building proof-of-concepts to validate approaches;
Challenge developers to consider different solutions and think critically, raising the bar on engineering craft;
Drive quality and process improvements directly, abstract common patterns with platform thinking, and build extensible, reusable solutions for multiple use cases.
As a product partner, you will:
Push back constructively to find better solutions, change scope, or re-plan for faster delivery based on your deep understanding of technical constraints and opportunities;
Apply strong product sense to help PMs understand what's possible and what's expensive, finding opportunities where technically easier solutions are also better for users;
Balance trade-offs between speed and quality with confidence, and partner with PM to shape technical strategy and roadmap—not just execute it.
As a people leader, you will:
Build team capability and independence, matching challenging work to engineers who can handle it while staying on top of accountability without micromanaging;
Be a force multiplier by removing blockers, providing context, and making good technical calls that make the team more productive;
Recruit and grow engineers pragmatically, focusing on what actually helps people develop rather than ritual.

Over 8 years of engineering experience, including relevant experience in a team leader or engineering manager role;Previously worked as a Software Engineer;Have experience working with AI technologies;Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills;Previously worked in a product organization;Experienced in managing delivery processes;A self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing business environment;You are hands-on, customer- and product-focused.Company Overview:
