Import & Logistics Manager
The Import & Logistics Manager handles the full cycle of import operations and logistics activities within the local market. This includes ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with GSC, and overseeing the efficient movement and storage of goods. The role requires strong operational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of supply chain, import, and logistics processes.
Position:
As Import and Logistics Manager, you will:
Coordinate end-to-end import processes, including procurement, international shipping, and customs clearanceCoordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodiesValidate import documents and ensure adherence to trade regulationsLead demand forecasting and inventory planning aligned with JTI’s strategyMaintain an 18-month rolling forecast and synchronise with sourcing factoriesMonitor product shelf life to meet JTI quality standardsHandle volume inputs across OL, LE, and A&SP cycles in collaboration with FinanceEnsure timely shipments and deliveriesTrack production and shipment schedules for market readinessSupervise POSM warehouse operations, inventory checks, and destruction processesServe as the main contact for product-related issues across internal teams and external partnersTrack product portfolio changes and report on NTM capacity and bottlenecksAnalyse product quality and logistics issues using JTI toolsFacilitate sourcing changes, new product introductions, and NTM coordinationDevelop sourcing scenarios and contribute to RTM strategyDefine and implement RTM metrics and benchmarks
Within 6 months, you will:

University degree or equivalentFluency in English and Hebrew, written and spokenAdvanced user of SAP & MS Office standard applications3 years minimum experience in the area of Logistics and ImportLeadership profile with critical thinkingInfluential, strong interpersonal and communication skillsGood planning and ability to prioritise tasksHands-on, result-driven and analytical skills profile
