This is an opportunity for a talented, self-motivated individual to develop their skill set and network in PwC, working with experienced Accounting and Finance practitioners across the region.
Main duties in the position:
registration of intercompany invoices in accordance with the requirements of commercial, financial and other departments;responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: ITC, AP & AR process, account allocation, reconciliation etc.);ensure that everything is accurately recorded on the correct general ledger accounts (GLs) and the appropriate cost centers/job codes;monitor the mailbox for all intercompany-related inquiries, addressing and handling outstanding balances / reminders, reconciliations of intercompany balances, and business-related questions;prepare payment orders (netting and non-netting);coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities;ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting;communicate with English speaking clients in order to resolve routine queries and problems;key attributes for this role include: accuracy, effective communication, and prompt action.Requirements:
undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or economics;one/two years of experience in a similar position is an advantage;sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures;good communication skills in English, oral and written, with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to clients (B2);advanced user of MS Excel;ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible, accurate and quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment, to cope with tight deadlines;clear and concise communication skills to engage with clients and team members.Privacy and personal data policy:
