Role: Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management & E-Prescribing

Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 0900-1730
Contract: Fixed Term - 12 months Maternity Cover

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our corporate SACT Protocols team and play a key role in the development and governance of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) protocols across HCA UK.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of SACT Protocol, Quality & Risk and Lead Cancer Pharmacists to coordinate the development of SACT protocols for both standard and individualised regimens, including those used in clinical trials. You will be responsible for building and maintaining these protocols within the Mosaiq e-prescribing system, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and aligned with clinical practice. You will also lead on integration, digital optimisation, and prescribing safety, while managing a team of pharmacy technicians and nurses. The role involves supporting training and education initiatives, contributing to audits and service development projects, and acting as a key point of contact for protocol-related queries across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacy technician with substantial oncology and or haematology experience and a strong understanding of electronic prescribing systems to lead innovation in SACT Protocol management and help shape the future of cancer care.
