Data Engineer (Big Data)

Building, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality data pipelines, analytics platforms, and scalable data solutions.

What we’re looking for

Have experience with ETL design and development and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to and hands-on work with big data ecosystem tools (Hive, Presto, Hadoop, HDFS, Parquet, ORC, etc.).

Have programming skills in Python and object-oriented programming.

Be proficient in SQL and experience writing complex queries.

Have proven experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink, Scala). And knowledge of Apache Kafka for event streaming.

Have experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms (, Azure, GCP).

Be proficient in Linux/Unix shell scripting.

Have exposure to leveraging LLMs such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar tools to enhance productivity and accelerate problem-solving. Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools like Cursor, Codeium, or related platforms for improving coding efficiency, automation and streamlining workflows.
