Project Engineer (Location: Shebin El Kom)
Position:
As a Project Engineer, you will:
Oversee, manage, and direct construction projects from start to end, ensuring alignment with scope, deliverables, and timelines.Determine and define the scope of work and project deliverables while managing project design, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), tendering, contractor selection, and claims.Lead and ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of multiple projects, adhering to budget, quality, and safety standards.Review contractor technical submittals, workshop drawings, and ensure approval of necessary permits and regulatory prerequisites.Coordinate and review site layouts and drawings across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, construction safety protocols, and JTI guidelines.Identify and mitigate risks by creating/reviewing detailed method statements and risk assessments for each project according to JTI standards.Monitor and report onsite activities and contractor performance daily, ensuring progress aligns with plans.Contribute to factory KPIs and support improvements in EHS, Energy, and Quality management systems.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Strong knowledge of Project Management; PMP certification is a plus.At least 3 years of experience in construction, civil works, and finishing projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and inspect effectively.Proven data analysis and reporting abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.Strong communication and influencing skills.What to expect:
