We are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and React to join our team. Our project is a platform that connects handymen with clients in urgent need of services such as locksmiths, plumbers, electricians, glaziers, and more. Requirements Strong experience with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Experience in building scalable back-end architectures. Knowledge of event-driven systems and modular monolith approaches. Familiarity with testing best practices and ability to implement them. Experience in React (Svelte experience is a plus). Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team. Proactive mindset and attention to detail in writing clean, maintainable code. Responsibilities Develop and implement new portals for clients (B2C) and professionals (B2B). Lead the migration of our back-end using the strangler pattern to transition to an event-driven modular monolith. Refactor and optimize existing applications.
