Data Analytics Manager – Head Office – Mississauga (12 months contract/12 months Development Assignment)
Position Purpose:
JTI Macdonald Corp. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Data Analytics Manager with a strong proficiency in data modeling to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in the analysis and interpretation of complex datasets, ensuring accurate and efficient data modeling practices to drive informed business decisions. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, including planning, field Sales, brand team, Excom, IT, and external data scientists, to find opportunities for data-driven insights and provide actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain data models to support business requirements, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data structures. Collaborate with partners to define data modeling objectives and translate them into effective solutions.Use advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets. Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to interpret findings and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Implement robust data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Perform data profiling and anomaly detection to identify and resolve data quality issues promptly.Work closely with multi-functional teams to understand business needs, extract relevant data, and provide comprehensive analyses. Collaborate with planning, IT, and external data consultants to optimize data models and pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key findings and metrics to partners. Ensure data visualizations are intuitive, insightful, and aligned with business requirements.Adhere to data governance standard processes, including data security, privacy, and compliance regulations. Contribute to the development and maintenance of data standards, policies, and procedures.Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes related to data modeling and analysis. Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
