Strategy: You will lead the design and roll-out of a sound and adapted-to-context Partnership strategy and operational guidance integrating cross-cutting issues (gender, protection, accountability, do-no-harm, community participation, disability, etc.) and development of appropriate tools and Standard operating procedures.
Training and technical support: You will provides methodological support to all program and support teams on technical questions linked to Partnerships and Grants and cross-cutting issues such as due diligence, Partnership Mapping and Scooping, and Localization, among others.
Monitoring and evaluation: You will look over the quality and relevance of partnership activities by Partners and support partners in refining their work Plans, Budgets, and internal systems.
Knowledge building: You will contribute to institutional knowledge building and partnership due diligence, engagements, and techniques improvement.
Management : You will have to manage a grants officer.

-Managing an evolving grants portfolio in a volatile, frontline operational context with tight timelines - Coordinating complex proposal development processes across multiple departments and partners under tight deadlines - Managing and strengthening partnerships with local implementing partners, ensuring alignment on quality, compliance, and delivery - Balancing donor expectations with operational realities, including access constraints, security considerations, and partner capacities
What you will need to succeed
Training
You hold a Master´s degree in project management, political sciences, international development, public administration, business, social science, or other relevant areas; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
Strengthened by at least 2 years of previous INGO experience
Skills
You have a proven experience in project and budget management, preferably in an NGO or INGO setting. You have an experience in developing and maintaining systematic and transparent records to keep track of projects and for accountability and auditing. You have experience in donor compliance and managing institutional donor funding (, ECHO, BHA would be an advantage). You have an experience in effective and values-based partnership work between international and local organizations and communities.
Qualities
You demonstrate an ability to take initiatives and responsibilities. You have a sense of diplomacy and open-mindedness, good analytical skills and you are pragmatic. You demonstrate good organization, management of priorities, an ability to adapt and to work with various partners, in a spirit of openness and with adaptable communications strategies.
Languages
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
