Within the Digital Lottery & Casual Gaming industry, we are actively seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer (Azure) to strengthen our team delivering captivating digital gaming solutions for lotteries worldwide. The role is focused on operating and improving Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation to support stable releases, streamline delivery, and maintain scalable, resilient environments across web platforms and services.

In your role, you’ll become a vital member of a cross-functional engineering environment, collaborating closely with Cloud Operations, Developers, QA, Security, and Product stakeholders. You will help implement infrastructure changes, support deployments, and contribute to monitoring and reliability improvements—while growing your technical depth and ownership.

This is you

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong automation mindset.

• Commercial hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (production environments).

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).

• Working knowledge of Azure App Service and Azure Functions deployment and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of monitoring and alerting concepts, and willingness to participate in incident response / on-call processes.

• Basic knowledge of networking and cloud security (RBAC, NSGs, VNet concepts).

• Upper-Intermediate English level (written and verbal), with confidence communicating in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).

• Secure CI/CD practices (OIDC, secrets management, least privilege).

• Experience with GitLab Runners configuration and maintenance.

This is your role

• Support the design, operation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines integrated with the Customer’s GitLab platform.

• Help manage GitLab Runners and assist with secure pipeline authentication (including OIDC patterns).

• Support application deployments for Azure App Service and Azure Functions, including basic troubleshooting and rollback support.

• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation, helping ensure repeatable and auditable changes.

• Execute DevOps-related change requests, participate in optimizations, and help with L2 escalations under guidance.

• Assist in improving monitoring, alerting, and pipeline efficiency to enhance visibility and reliability.

• Collaborate with Cloud Operations and development teams to improve testability, delivery quality, and operational readiness.
