The Cloud Networking & Data Plane team, which is part of this business unit, focuses on delivering fast user space virtualized networking solutions to SBG as well as other Business Units.

Experienced for 4+ years with delivering cloud software and high-performance software written in C/C++Proficient with VPPSkilled in VPP contributionWell-versed in L2-L7 packet processing and data plane protocolsKnowledgeable in Linux-based operating systems, virtual machines, cloud-based services, and networking protocolsCapable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client sideSkilled in Python, Go as a plusConfident in containerization as an advantageExperienced in CPU hardware architecture Arm64, x86_64 as a bonusAware of Kubernetes, AWS well as virtualization technologies is desired as an advantage

Assist in the design and development of Cloud Native Networking solutionsDevelop industry-leading performance modular software data plane (L2 – L7) utilizing packet process engineInteract with the engineering team to develop new features and help with the integration in various virtualized, containerized, and bare metal environmentsElevate the quality of coding, unit testing, and maintaining featuresDesign and implement private cloud, public cloud, and multicloud-related solutions
