We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team developing a developer-first toolkit that enables rapid creation of scalable, task-based applications on our platform. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of solutions built with React, Vue.js, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

In this role, you'll own and execute manual and automated testing processes, collaborating closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify risks, strengthen test coverage, and ensure high product quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in commercial software development
• Strong expertise in exploratory testing with a critical thinking mindset
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Solid background in testing modern web applications (UI, API, and backend)
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure (cloud services and testing in distributed environments)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment environments
• Comfortable working independently as the primary QA representative on a cross-functional team
• Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
• Experience in agile development environments focused on iterative delivery and continuous improvement
• Passion for working on technically challenging and impactful products

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Experience testing AI/ML-based products or systems
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools or automation assistants

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases, potential risks, and product weaknesses
• Perform functional and integration testing for web applications and cloud-based services
• Identify, document, and track defects; provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams
• Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high quality and testability
• Contribute to release planning and execution with a strong emphasis on product stability and user experience
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Continuously improve test practices and stay up to date with emerging QA methodologies
