We’re looking for a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer with an operational focus to join our Client’s small, dynamic technical team and shape the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform from the ground up. Their turnkey solution includes hardware, software, and managed services designed to simplify EV charging for property owners and drivers alike 

Project – a cloud-based EV charging management platform for multi-family housing, workplaces, and parking garages. The system controls physical chargers via OCPP, provides real-time monitoring and billing for drivers, and delivers customer/partner web interfaces plus internal management tools. 

Experience / Skills required: 

Must have: 

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes Demonstrable experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Strong programming and scripting skills in Go, Python, and Bash, with hands-on backend development experience Solid Linux system administration skills Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for solving problems permanently Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced remote team English: Upper-Intermediate and better 

Good to have: 

Previous experience in a startup environment Experience with Postgres administration and scaling Familiarity with Django AWS experience Knowledge of OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) or OpenADR Experience working in energy or EV charging sectors 

Responsibilities: 

Redesign and maintain GCP Kubernetes infrastructure Build CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment  Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue resolution  Improve system reliability and performance (scaling, bottlenecks)  Apply security best practices (IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning)  Participate in incident response alongside dev team  Support backend development in Go/Python when needed  Automate repetitive infra tasks and document workflows, playbooks, and designs
