Territory Development Leader (Valenzuela)
What this role is about
The position purpose is to develop company's business on an assigned territory to ensure sustainable growth of JTI Brands' equity by implementing and driving strategies to acquire more consumers and achieve sales targets. The incumbent is accountable in leading and developing the capabilities of the team to achieve territory growth. They are responsible in leading a team consisting of several Territory Representatives and Assistant Territory Representatives (plus Sales Drivers in some teams). Works in close collaboration with Field Marketing (FM), Finance and People & Culture (P&C) in handling people, controls, implementing plans and programs and ensuring important metric achievements.
What you will do
1) PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Develops and leads a proficient team through objective-based targets, training and regular performance feedbacksMotivates and guides the Team by providing their individual developmental plansConducts regular field mentor and short trainings to improve sales competencies of each team memberResponsible for territory and field force planning & management by aligning area and territory structures, route plans and headcount needed to achieve coverage and distribution objectivesEvaluates team productivity and execution excellence2) SALES STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Drives consumer centric approach finding opportunities, crafting sales plan and strategies on a territory level in collaboration with relevant departmentsMonitors and assess market trends and consumer behaviorEnsures in-store retail/wholesale pricing is consistent with agreed pricing objectives3) CONTROL AND COMPLIANCE
Monitor the team's Collection & credit efficiencyConducts regular trade audits, validation and surveysEnsures accuracy of territory customer master data4) CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT (RETAILER AND WHOLESALER)
Conducts regular visits and build relationships to key wholesalers and retailersAssesses growth opportunities and create action plans to develop the businessManages accounts’ business performanceWho we are looking for
University / College degree2+ years of relevant field sales, distribution, trade marketing experienceGood communication skills - Oral and Written (English & Filipino)People management experience, including coaching/mentoringAbility to analyze business situation on the ground and propose improvementsStrong analytical skills and critical thinkingGood understanding of digital tools, including usage of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Power BI)Drivers’ license (B2 or higher).
