As Medical Engagement Manager you’ll implement the country medical affairs plan and other key medical affairs initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, in alignment with the Established Products CSE medical strategy, and according to the highest ethical and compliance standards.

Main responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external medical education to enhance disease and product knowledge and awarenessOversee and interpret new scientific data, literature, competitive trends and product opportunities and adjust medical and educational activities accordinglyMaintain and develop strong relationships with local scientific societies and central decision makers at relevant health authoritiesIdentify, develop, and maintain collaboration with current and future Key Opinion Leaders and Digital Opinion LeadersSupport to all company sponsored clinical trialsEnsure high scientific level of expertise within therapeutic areaDrive organization and implementation of Advisory Boards and other scientific meetingsAddress adequately all unsolicited medical questions according with all applicable regulations and internal policiesDrive development and execution of local Medical Affairs plan as well as local communication strategy in alignment with the medical strategy in collaboration with MCO medical teamBe a strong partner to the local Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance and Public Affairs, and provide continuous medical advice and trainingSupport pricing and reimbursement applications and negotiations when neededBe proactive and active contributor to the cross functional local brand plan, dossiers etcEvaluate medical projects and unsolicited investigator-initiated projectsReview clinical data and scientific documents as per local needEnsure the development of core behaviors with a constant concern to meet legal, regulatory, ethical, and social responsibility standards required by local laws and organizational policies, procedures and cultureSupport to other countries as per need in the medical affairs teamEducation: Degree in a scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD)
Experience and specific knowledge:
Experience in a similar position in an international pharmaceutical companyExperience in communication with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians / specialists and KOLs as well as other healthcare sector professionals.Experience in interpretation and dissemination of scientific and clinical dataA successful track record of developing relationships with patient organizations and other key stakeholders is highly valued.Soft and technical skills:
