Material Planning Associate
Purpose:
Material Planning Associate is mainly responsible for ensuring a continuous and smooth production by planning and determining material requirements against the Production Plan. You will optimise material requirements and purchase requisitions according to the production and duration. You will act as a live link between Production Planning and PPO. You will also be supporting reports of Material Planning group, analyzing SAP functions and adapt new practices to daily business.
Position:
Running MRP effectively for all materials according to cigarettes, filter rods, Cut filler and CRES production plans
Capturing and reflecting new brands, material changes in Bill of Material declared by the QC department.Reviewing periodic Materials Requirement PlanningCapturing and reflecting the replacements by communicating with QC and R&D Follow shelf life expiration dates of all items and reflect to supply plan.
Creating Purchase Requisitions in accordance with the requirements calculated after MRP run, taking into account parameters like container size and targeted inventory coverage
Communicating the generated PR with PPO and intercompany contactsReviewing open purchase orders weekly and determining needs of expedite or delay against updated MRP.
Working in close contact with Production Planning, Purchasing, Import, QC and Warehouse to ensure a smooth transition during launch, relaunch and material/code changes in terms of material planning
Analyzing SAP functions to be adapted to daily life for improving material planning and report preparation processes Preparing inputs for incentive management and Capacity reports in terms of material inventory.
Responsible for maintaining material planning related master data
MRP and Work Scheduling views in R/3Related views in APO and also responsible for checking accuracy of fields in material master both in R/3 & APO environments.
Supporting/owning preparation of reports mainly related with inventory levels, slow moving and write off materials
Giving full support to Material Planning Manager during AP/LE studies, which will be input for Global procurementScheduling customs clearance priorities for imported materials to ensure material availability and provide leveled load for the Import groupResponsible for preparing materials requirement forecasts for Purchasing group (to be sent to suppliers) periodicallyPreparing short and long term cash flow requirements and inventory level projections for Budget&Planning Department together with Material Planning ManagerTo perform any other tasks given by the direct manager.
Requirements:
University degree in BA or EngineeringMinimum 2 years of experience in similar job Excellent English and Turkish (written and spoken)MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)/SAP/Network usage capability.
