e-Commerce Operations Manager
What this position is about – Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving Ploom's e-Commerce end-to-end operations to achieve best-in-class performance. You will focus on driving consumer-centric initiatives, optimizing online sales, and delivering a seamless shopping experience.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end e-Commerce operations and oversees the overall functionality, user experience (UX), and performance while ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience. This includes optimizing product information, streamlining checkout processes, ensuring efficient order fulfilment;
Identify areas for improvement and boost conversion rates and lead UX/UI enhancement development & implementation, incl. bug fixing process;
Analyze performance data, track key metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales, customer behavior), and propose corrective actions to optimize strategies and enhance ROI & profitability;
Oversee budget allocation, control expenditures, and optimize investments to maximize efficiency and impact;
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital opportunities to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Who are we looking for – Requirements:
Education: University degree;
Work experience: 3-5 years of experience in e-Commerce management within the FMCG industry;
Language: Romanian and English proficiency;
Other skills and knowledge:
Strong understanding of e-Commerce platforms, website optimization, and content management systems, with experience in managing digital marketing and e-Commerce programs, including omnichannel strategies;
Experience in growing online sales and optimizing e-Commerce websites on platforms like Shopify or Magento (desirable), and familiarity with Through-the-Line (TTL) marketing (both ATL & BTL) is a plus;
Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, collaborating cross-functionally;
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights, along with problem-solving abilities to optimize campaigns;
Experience in budget management, including monitoring and controlling spending;
Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure, with a proactive, team-oriented approach;
Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data visualization tools to analyze website traffic, customer behavior, and campaign performance; understanding of website optimization techniques (SEO, conversion rate optimization), and content management systems (CMS) would be a plus.
