The Track & Trace Representative is responsible for monitoring and tracking product movement throughout the supply chain, ensuring accurate documentation, resolving shipping discrepancies, and maintaining comprehensive logistics records. Job Responsibilities: Saturday to Wednesday Noon to 9 PM EST Assist daytime trackers during the weekday shifts and carry out tracking needs into the afterhours shift to confirm all loads have successfully been picked up or delivered. During the afterhours shift they will need to an eye on driver’s hours of service to escalate anything that might affect deliveries the following day. We would like this individual to be capable of sourcing coverage for uncovered loads that pick up early the following day and or that need to be recovered afterhours. This is something I feel confident we could train if we are unable to find someone with more of a carrier sale background. This shift will overlap with the two 8-5-day time trackers who will be tracking their teams loads. If there is no tracking assistance needed on a given day, we would like this individual to assist our account coordinators build and schedule loads in the TMS and then align with the day trackers on what needs to be looked after closely leading into the afterhours shift. During the weekend, this individual will work in tandem with the person hired for the shift below to track milage and hours of service and handle and weekend escalation occurs or reach out to Carrier Sales for assistance deescalating the issue. Wednesday to Sunday 8 AM to 5 PM ET - Tracking/Scheduling/Load Building Like the previous shift there will be overlap with the two 8-5pm day trackers and if there is no assistance needed this individual would assist the Account Coordinators with load building and scheduling. I would anticipate this being one of their primary tasks during the weekdays but during the weekend they would specifically be tracking loads and escalating any issues to the appropriate party. Since this shift is during the hours our carrier sales team is online load coverage is not a requirement but would be a plus. During the weekend, this individual will work closely with the afternoon tracker to make call checks on all loads in transit and keep up with any weekend picks or deliveries we have.
