Our SoftServe Robotics Group consists of 100+ professionals coming from Ukraine, Poland, Singapore, Bulgaria, Mexico and is still growing. The team is involved in scientific research (PhDs), hardware and software engineering, product management and marketing.

IF YOU ARE

An expert in Python programming, with at least 5 years of experience in software development A holder of an MSc or degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, or a related field Highly capable of understanding, developing, and implementing complex, and efficient algorithms Showing a good understanding of control theory, especially model-based control (MPC, MHE, LQG, Kalman filtering, decentralized control system analysis) Strong in mathematical optimization (NLP, QP, MILP) Knowing first-principle and data-driven modeling techniques for dynamic systems Having a deep understanding of numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming Familiar with AWS cloud services development Aware of Unix (Linux) systems, Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL) Having a deep understanding of testing, Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment, and monitoring of complex systems A team player with great interpersonal and communication skills at the Upper-intermediate English level (both spoken and written) Highly attentive to details with strong analytical skills, mathematical foundation, and a problem-solving attitude A technology enthusiast who enjoys expanding knowledge and sharing it with others Confident with simulation techniques and with simulation and modeling frameworks like Matlab/Simulink, Mathematica, and Modelica (as a plus) Experienced with physics-based simulations like Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac, VREP, etc (would be an advantage) Having proven experience in developing robotics systems and robotics frameworks ROS and ROS2 and experience with AI: computer vision, reinforcement learning, PINNs, etc. (nice-to-have)
