Our project focused on maintaining and evolving a mission-critical blood management system used in hospitals worldwide.
The product is a modular transfusion management platform that integrates software and hardware devices to control, monitor, and verify blood product storage and transfusions across hospital environments. The system extends the functionality of Blood Bank Information Systems (BBIS) and ensures patient safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance throughout the blood supply chain.
The solution integrates with medical hardware devices, hospital systems, and databases, operating in regulated healthcare environments.
Our team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing an existing legacy system, addressing technical debt, implementing new features, and ensuring system stability and compliance.
